new song feat. my moog LP

Post by sewa »

Hello,

I finished a new tune couple of days ago and I still like it so I decided to post it.

I also included a poll (for the first time actually) to receive feedback from people who would otherwise be unwilling to formulate their opinion. I often do not review other people's work just because I have no time or I'm too lazy to think of particular things I liked about a song or not. Its a shame actually as lack of feedback can easily kill the effort. So, here I introduced a simple voting system like the one you find on youtube. If you feel like writing a short review - great! If not - just press a button.

I used all my synthesisers to make this one: Motif ES (sequencing, short drum pattern), Waldorf mQ (lead sound with lots of reverb), Radias (drums), Roland JP 8k (pad), Virus C (bass and that loud sound throughout the soong) and finally my new moog little phatty (you'll figure out the sound easily  ).

I hope you will like it :)

I like this song, I just wonder if it's possible to clean up the initial sound cos it has some noise (in the early beginning too the song start with a little gated noise), or if it is intentional just clean the early beginning that start with a low hiss.

I like that noise :D
Makes it sound more oldschool and dirty.

Cool song too.

I noticed that too. Its the result of my initial mastering attempts...I was messing around with default settings of izotope ozon (demo version).

Np but that's just me
For example I always resample all my drums from 24 to 16 bit.
I add noise to piano, snare and most synth sounds. Not much but I do :)
I hate surgically clean sounds...
Wayyyy too synthetic as for me.

and I congratulate you on your P3 sequencer. I wish I had one of those. Do you have an idea whether their production will be resumed?

Well, then I'm lying down as well to have a listen.

BTW, since the P3 is out of reach for the moment I would be interested to know how the Doepfer's MAQ 16/3 compares with it?

it has arrived,
the yellow circle
all lead on the phatty, drums from the radias

the maq 16/3 is a nice add on, but it can not stand in the shade from the p3
