Wave LOOP in Korg Pa5x = Percusion PAD,etc.

Post by Korg2024 »

Hello everyone. Can someone explain to me the best way to cut the wave-audio loop? I have about 10 audio items that I want to cut and insert into the beat. For example, there are percussions, some vocal chords and phasons. No matter how I cut in the Korg Pa5X, it always cuts badly. It chops the sound. It cuts it irregularly. Is it possible to do it more precisely somewhere outside the keyboard? I am not at all satisfied with the cut.

Hello Korg2024, also inside the Korg the quality of a slicing result depends on the lengths of the loop. If it is not for example exactly 2 bars each with 4beats, it is difficult for the PA to calculate a correct tempo (see the example in the manual page 1049). Perhaps the result gets better if you set the tempo manually.
Regards
Tim
