ExTyrosFan, am a bit confused as to what exactly is createsongstyles.com is about/for. Is it for "converting" a Yamaha Style (for example) to Korg? Does it work for Sounds too?

A "SongStyle" is a style (either Korg or other manufacturer) which supports a specific SONG. Styles in general are Generic and can support many types of songs, however, a songstyle is very specific; for example a style which sounds like "Pretty Woman" with the included bass line, drums, and guitar would be very difficult to be used in another song without sounding like Pretty Woman!

as kbrkr as explained, songstyles work very well with the song that was designed for. The process of creating these styles is "generally" to base the style off of a good midi file of that song; using some cool software developed by Yamaha and converting it then into a style that covers the backing of the specific song being played. Some of us that have more time on our hands try to match the instruments being used in the original song in each track of the style. This takes more time when there are no style conversion tools like what Yamaha has on call.

You will find that some players provide both the song style and the sheet music for the song (for those that cannot remember each note sequence of a song - like me; or those that cannot play by ear).

If you depend on sheet music and want a cool style that goes with the song, then createsongstyles.com is the place for you.

Createsongstyles.com also has other custom styles and converted styles from older keyboards and other keyboard brands that will work on the PA5X. These conversions can be downloaded in some of my other posts for your viewing and using pleasure. Again, I do not want to take credit for the content of the downloads as the content has been created by many other enthusiasts like me on either older keyboards or other brands of keyboard.

Lastly, createsongstyles has a HUGE collection of sheet music too. Can download them to PDF and play from your tablet instead of having half a tree next to your keyboard stand.
