Hi everybody,
I like to set different sounds to 9 keyboard library sets in KORG PA700 without assigning them to any styles.
I can set it now. but there is a problem with that. every time I turn off and on the keyboard, this setting is lost.
Can you help me with that.
Thanks,
Keyboard Library Set

Re: Keyboard Library Set
Regardless of where you use keyboard sets (into keyboard set library, styles, songbook entries), a look at the manual (Page 181 ff "Writing the Sound sets") will show you in detail how to create/change/memorize keyboard sets.pedorg wrote: .. different sounds to 9 keyboard library sets in KORG Pa700 ... at. every time I turn off and on the keyboard, this setting is lost ...
You can recall your Keyboard Sets and none of your changes will be lost, if you write them onto User or Direct Keyboard Sets. Factory and Local Keyboard Sets normally are write protected.
kind regards

Remember if you’re using the factory, user or direct banks of keyboard sets to turn the auto select off in the global menu.
Otherwise each time you select a new bank the first keyboard set in that bank is automatically selected.

Write keyboard set to be permanent
No, that is not the reason of AutoSelect, but are that keyboard set you last selected in the banks.NativeAngels wrote:Remember if you’re using the factory, user or direct banks of keyboard sets to turn the auto select off in the global menu.

First keyboard set in the banks only happens if you saved AutoSelect with this configuration and never changed that configuration, or another AutoSelect configuration was never reloaded or could not be loaded - because e.g. Global Protect enabled when loading.
AutoSelect automatically selects the keyboard set you last selected in a bank, and for this it is necessary to enable Auto selection in the global menu. This allows you to assign your favorite keyboard set to the keys of each panel and select it with just a single tap.
The only reason to turn off AutoSelect in the globals is, if you want to select the bank first and then you want to select one of the keyboard sets separately.
But Autoselect has nothing to do with the fact that the temporary change to a keyboard set disappears every time the keyboard is turned off and on again, because that happens if changed keyboard set it's not saved permanently.
