As if we didn’t already know this, but I decided to email Korg Customer Service just now and wanted to see what they would say.
My friend ordered the Korg Pa5x through SweetWater, early July and SweetWater has been pushing the shipment date since then. Hopefully, by the time it arrives, the new update is included.
I’m sure, each vendor has different dates on when and how many shipments they will receive, and it may be sooner than we know but for now Korg is giving out a generic response if you email them. Atleast, that’s what I got.
Anyways, here is the reply by Korg Rep:

Thank you for contacting Korg USA! Currently, the PA5X is on back order. Due to global manufacturing/shipping delays, we would not have an accurate ETA as to when this unit will be back in stock.
