Pitch Bend Not Returning to Center

My M3 61 is in fantastic shape. However, it's developed a mechanical issue where the pitch bend lever doesn't return to exact middle (64). It gets stuck at 74. It leaves the patch slightly sharp, until I correct it by doing a pitch bend from the left to center it.

Have you heard of or run into this? Is it something I could take apart and adjust myself? Any thoughts or experience most appreciated. Thank you.
