I'm downloading some online user / custom sets and some of them are made with pa3x, 4x etc... I have a pa700.

can I use them as is? or is there a way to convert those into a format that pa700 can read?

hope I explained clearly. Thanks for your help.

It kind of depends on what content you are using. In terms of samples (user sounds) you have a small amount of sample space so be selective about what you load.

As it can be read in the Pa700 manual from page 882, with Pa700 you can load most data from other Pa-Series instruments.

But you could not load Set folders, so it is recommended to open Set folder and load each bank or individual item separately. A table shows what data you can load from the other instruments.

Built-in loading procedure will convert the data, that can be saved as new set folder after loading the needed data.

Loading or importing samples, multisamples, sounds and pcg-files is a special chapter and extensively described from page 448 ff.
