Reverb/Delay workaround

So far the best workaround that I've found for the limited reverb/delay options on the Kross is to put a reverb of my choice on one MFX send, and then put S69, the multitap chorus/delay on the other MFX send and to wrangle the different taps on it to approximate the delay that I want.

Is there a better one? It's not ideal, but I haven't seen anything more promising.
