Copy user Pad Sound to User Sound?

Post by BR »

Hi,

I have a percussion loop assigned to a Pad in one of my user style.
I want to assign this percussion loop to one of the ACC Style Track.
I've already copied the Pad into a ACC Track Style but I am stuck with its sound (percussion loop).
I need to assign also its sound to that appropriate ACC Track.

How can I copy that Pad's percussion loop to a User Sound?

Thank you

- You'd better use copied Pad to track , since else you have to built from scratch Sound and probably 2 stereo pairs.
- But in order to use it as a sequencer time sliced sound , you have to export SMF2 from PAD sound and import it in specific style track.

Thanks Antony for the reply.
As i mentioned I've already copied the midi of the loop in a Track style.
But I could not find any way to find this loop and Export it in Sound Record mode.
Building from scratch is almost impossible for me since it's a percussion loop recorded from a real instrument.

So If I understand well, in my situation it is almost impossible to achieve this with Pa4X and a DAW.

I did some search on my Pa4X to find this percussion loop in RAM memory with no luck.
It's not even possible to select the loop and going to Sound mode to find more details.

Thanks anyway.

Time sliced samples are registered as drum samples and you can't find a reference , but unlike you can find the related multisample
(or a pair if stereo) , then you can create a SOUND and assign multisample(s) and proper C2 octave but you will have only separated
hits of percussion and not the playable sequencer form , for this you have to export SMF2 of Pad and import it in style track !
This is the only way to sync percussion hits with style tempo , since a simple Sound will never execute the sequence of slices in tempo.
Explore another existing time sliced loop of your Sound mode and see how this works.

Hope this helps
