I like the Funk & Blues->Gospel Shuffle style, but both Intro1 and Ending1 have a distracting background noise. (Were they trying to simulate a live audience?)
I can't seem to figure out how to remove just that noise and keep everything else. Can anybody help?
Thanks,
Karl

Hey Karl
Welcome to Korg Forums!!
Re: Gospel Shuffle
Yes it is annoying - it's an effect called "Stadium" which is supposed to be a big applauding audience.
Just edit the style and clear INTRO1 ACC1 and ENDING1 ACC1 (do not clear anything else as ACC1 one is used for other sounds in the remaining STYLE elements)
It is a FACTORY style so if you are game, you can actually overwrite it - this involves turning off Factory Protection which is on by default - just keep in mind that if Korg produce an updated Factory set, then your change will be overwritten by it.
.......OR....... you can simply save it ("Write style") as a USER or FAVORITE style and leave the original as is.
Let me know if you need assistance with this
Hope this helps
Cheers

Nice to feel welcome somewhere these days.
I was able to remove the ACC1 quite simply in the Sound Controls screen and the noise is gone - yay! But like you said, that takes it out completely, including the nice guitar riff - no! So how do I remove it only from Intro1/Ending1?

You need to edit the style and simply remove ACC1 track from INTRO1 and ENDING1
Everything else will remain unchanged
Happy to provide details if you need them..

It took me forever to figure this out, but now I've got it!
Using Record and the Style Editor, you have to tap on ACC1, select INTRO1 and "Delete current track" from the dropdown menu. Same with END1 obviously.
Learned something new
