Gosh, it’s been quite a few years since I’ve been back here. I wanted to wish my Oasys 88 a happy 16th B-day ... Wow a teenager. My Oasys keeps humming along in mint condition and you know... I would never sell or trade her in considering her age! If you look at other recent workstations from Yamaha , Roland and even Kurzweil with their K2700 recent release it’s hard not to see the Oasys influence had on manufacturers ever since. In my opinion she can still compete with the array of dizzying components I am still today learning from the 2 inch thick manual.
Anybody still treasure their OASYS these days as much as I do? Chime in!

Yep. Still use my Oasys 76 live. I have a Kronos 2 as a back up. Wonderful machine.

Yes. I still have my O powered up. I've hesitated trading it in for the Kronos but I've always pulled back. The thing is a sonic marvel. A couple of pads need replacing but that apart, it's no different from when I took it out of its box. Buy Stephen Kay's Catalyst 1 & 2 and you'll see what I mean.

I'm ok when I get to the music. The Oasys 88 sees to that.

Just watched a YouTube clip of Genesis rehearsal for upcoming "Last Domino" Tour. Tony Banks is still using his Korg Oasys........for the rehearsal anyway....

I was in love with the OASYS when it was first released. I LOVE the unit, but have never had the chance to own one.
I had an opportunity about 5 years ago to get a 76-key version for about $2500 USD but there was something wrong with it.
I see listings on eBay for the OASYS but I feel that the prices are a bit inflated.
In addition, the Kronos makes a compelling argument for not buying an OASYS today.
If you add to that the clock battery needing to be replaced after a period of years on the OASYS (and not sure how difficult that really is for an end-user to do), I am not sure if actually getting one today would be worth.
With all of the above said, I would still LOVE to own one. I know how productive I would be with one.
Grace,
Harry
