Hi to all. Is there a way to turn on or off insert in styles?

Nope,but you could create songbook entries with that,
for example a style with different insert effects than the original style has,
fx turned off,different mix or sounds,panpot ,STS,etc.

Can't imagine how that should that be done for different style tracks on different channels - with direct access on the panel maybe with creating a signable switch or do you think via Midi remote?

There only are MIDI-Rx-send commands but insert on / off are no standard MIDI commands, so that NRPN or Meta commands would have to be implemented.

With a simple solution that Insert on/off can be done with each styleperformance:

Copy your style (or use the original style), use mixer menue of styletracks (not the styleeditor) an set insert effects to off, save that styleperformance.

Use this styleperformance and each time you change marking/unmarking "Original style sound" your tracks comes with/without insert effect.

PS: What I would like to see with an update: to use an assignable switch to toggle "Original style sound" - that would be necessary in order to be able to play the styles with a simple switchover in a much more varied way.

You can use control changes or any other mod source to adjust the wet dry ratio and or level of the effects

I think one of the issues with toggling inserts on and off is that it often interrupts the sound and can have unpredictable results depending on algorithm.

I think the better solution is a Mix control that could be assigned to a slider or switch, so the insert isn’t actually turned off, just bypassed...
