Pitch lane, note input // + FX init presets

Post by RC-IA »

Hey guys!!

Seems quite obvious when you think about it.... why can't we input note (holding a step, pushing keyboard note) in the Pitch Lane instead of dialing semitones?

Sorry if i missed something or if it has already been discussed.

Thanx

I think it's all relative pitch to what is playing right now - every step in pitch lane.

Holding a key you want absolute note played?

If you want to program fixed midi notes you can use StepSeq lane and entering numbers that can be source to control pitch. Have not tried yet, just figure you can use it like that.

You select Note-on as trigger or not in various places - so certain fixed notes are to be played disregarding what keys are down on keyboard - it can be triggered by something else.

Places you use keys as entry is if modulation is on velocity, a bit quicker than dialíng in.

It would stay relative. When you would enter via keyboard, the value at screen would stay semitones and not absolute note. thanx for your input.

While i'm thinking of it, don"t want to open another thread, i would appreciate init presets for the FX.
