Dan shares some info about the orchestral samples available, of course is not a complete list

Here's the list of brass and string Multisamples. Keep in mind a few things:
1. This isn't intended to be a comprehensive library for orchestral realizations
2. I chose samples primarily for their sound quality (I wanted to enjoy listening to them played as raw samples) and usefulness in the context of Wave Sequencing
3. This list is less than 5 percent of the total number of Multisamples in the instrument

DP: I believe that a full "voice name list" will be published soon.

DP: the source is the Kronos and Krome libraries, including Korg expansions.
There are also some miscellaneous orchestral sounds in the Wavestation sample bank, not listed above, but those are tiny in comparison.

DP: I should have added that a few of the Multisamples in that list are brand-new, which I prepared based on some recent sampling sessions and which haven't been on any previous instrument:

Thanks for the list.

As a Kronos owner, some familiar names but also some new ones. I thought the PluginGuru soundset included some of his Cello samples. Maybe Dan is only including Korg samples.

Plugin Guru has quite a bit of samples , I can confirm the Syn_Guru patches on my wavestate don't have any Cello samples included though. Perhaps they are going to update this with new soundpacks in time.

I was told to be patient for next month, a easter present is coming for the wavestate.
