KORG I3 BACKLIGHT DISPLAY NOT ILLUMINATED - HARD TO SEE

I have acquired a Korg i3 but the backlight display does not light up, making it difficult to see - any ideas on how to repair please

If the display graphics and text can be seen with the help of a torch, then backlight replacement is the way to go.

Replacement backlights can be bought e.g.:

This is not an easy keyboard to take apart. It might be better to have a service centre do this.
