arranger module
Hello
Is there any chance to see one day a module version of pa4x ?
or maybe pa1000 ? pa700?
It could be great to add these instruments to Kronos or stage pianos !

The PA4x speaker system is detachable, the images you see on the Korg website do not have the speakers attached, hence simply connect the outputs and you are good to go.
Whilst the 700 and 1000 have built in amps and speakers these too have audio and MIDI outputs so can easily be added to any stage setup if desired.

Arranger modules sadly seem something of the past..
Even Roland quit them after the bk7
Yet an arranger module can work miracles fo any stagepiano, ogan or Synthworkstation.
The only company making high end arranger modules is currently Ketron
The SD40 offers a lot, and there even seems to be a modulversion of rhe sd9pro to be announced at musikmesse in April.

Thanks for your replies
I don't understand why companies stopped to produce such modules.
A lot of pianists would be very pleased by these products as usually TOTL keyboards have very "light" keybed.
A good news if Ketron launch a new module. However their products have most of the time plenty of bugs . I hope they will do better this time

Hi Oliv73:
I agree with Bachus, modules are musseum stuff.-
Although i still have some (Korg N1r, Korg 05RW, hardware sequencers, and some Roland's) they are unconfortable.- I my long time ago i put them on a custom rack, which later becomes a heavy stuff to transport, without mention it's complex programing.-
Korg put everything on one keyboard.- I have myself two of the beast Korg produce Kronos and PA4x, i it's really confortable to transport only one or two keyboards and no complex wiring, and the best of the best is that you program your keyboard on studio and everything is there on gig.- This - i suppose - is the reason why Korg don't produce sound modules since last 15 years.-
Not all controller allows you to get the best of Korg keyboards.-
Korg introduce very good keybeds (Kronos and PA4x); in the first one you can get hammer action and semiweighted (Kronos LS), and on PA4x an extraordinary semiweighted keybed that is too confortable to play piano with less effort.-
So, go and test PA4x, and really you'll be pleased.-
With regards and whishing you a Happy New Year.-
