Tube Preamp and Korg X50...any of you?

Hi guys, I'm pretty satisfied with my little X50, I use it for little gigs where no kronos is needed. I'm just wondering if a tube preamp would make the output of the X50 more "hot". I've read that some people use it with keyboards and I think that the keybed (no complain for the price) and output gain is X50's Aquiles heel...
Any of you try one like the Behringer Tube Preamp Mic100 or stuff like that?
