Standard rythmes dont work after formating

Post by Mastercar »

Hi, i have formated my Korg Pa2x, the factory rythmes do not work now and when i try to load some oriental rythmes via the USB they suffer from the same problem.
What is the problem? Would appreciate is someone could help me since i need the synth next week.

Best regards, Mastercar

Hello everybody.
I just faced the same problem. I even downloaded the latest firmware and resources to my device afterwards but still I can't play any style although the display shows me the style is running but I can't hear anything from drums, percussion, and automatic accompaniment. The upper right hand sounds are OK and I can play normally though. Interesting is that, when I stop the style, I can hear lower (left hand) chords when I play something.

I appreciate any help.

Hi manouchehrmail

Can you hear anything if you plug in a pair of headphones.

If you can , maybe, just maybe , go to global and see if speakers are turned off

No. It is the same thing with or without a pair of headphones.

I have more precisely described my problem here:

By the way, I just tested the firmware that "ANDRZEJP" had provided above which is "Pa2X_os_res_v202.pkg" but it didn't work either.

i don't know about pa2x but on pa800 the second slider has 2 configurations (either it ll be used for adjusting the sts volume or adjust the mix between sts and style). It happened to me once and i was searching till i realized that the new global had changed the configuration and that was why the style wasn't working...In pa2x if there is no such slider you should check the slider volumes of each part...!
Also to be sure that the factory rom is ok , find which sound the drum track of a style uses and go try this specific drum sound in sound mode and play with it.
If it doesn't make sound then for some reason the factory rom isn't being loaded or has some problem (could be hardware too)

Hello,

yes you are right. It was definitely a hardware problem. Like I showed in the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHPqgNI ... e=youtu.be) there were 3 burned LEDs. I just replaced them and now the keyboard functions normally again. Thanks for your time.

Hello, I eventually noticed what was the reason of audio problems. If you are interested to know, please read the explanation underneath my own video.
