Argghhh not again, how to cancel accidental pattern change?

Post by konaboy »

So I'm working on my own pattern, I want to change some parameter value. But I'm in the wrong mode, and when I twist the value knob the display starts flashing, I have accidentally selected a new pattern.

This is a ticking time bomb. When my custom pattern reaches the end, then I am taken to the new pattern that I selected. All my hard work is gone!

There must be a way to cancel the new pattern? I tried pressing exit, no luck. I might only have milliseconds to cancel before the pattern changes. Maybe I can twirl the value knob to get back to my pattern, I'm not sure if I have time.

You have to switch it back to your original pattern before it changes. Hopefully you aren't at a super high bpm  . It sucks I know but it is what it is... When I'm writing and not playing, I literally save every 10 seconds. It becomes second nature.
