Midi to Style Conversion Problem

Post by mlavio829 »

Hi Everyone.
I'm trying to convert a midi file to style on my Pa4X however i get an error saying: This .mid file is not suitable for conversion to style. Could not compete the file conversion.

Any ideas why?

Thanks
Michael

Not a PA4x owner just yet but I'm thinking maybe the midi file you're using has the wrong instruments assigned to the wrong tracks? Like a drum track to anything but channel 10? Or maybe the file is saved in midi type 0? Or maybe the file is too long or too short?...

Not sure what the PA4x midi specifications are for this particular purpose. I don't remember seeing anything about this in the manual though.
