KLC Wavestation - How to set Pan & Amp LFO?

Post by SciFiArtMan »

Just got the KLC Wavestation, and I'm pretty impressed with the sounds possible with this synth! But for the life of me I can't figure out how to set the pan on individual sounds!? Nor can I find a way to set the LFO to amplitude modulation!?

An example - I want to create a performance with nylon guitar panned a little to the left, and a soft flute panned a little to the right, and I want the LFO to modify the volume of the flute (which better simulates a flute vibrato than frequency modulation, IMO).

I've checked the manual, but I see no easy way to accomplish this need!?

Any ideas? Maybe I've missed something simple!

Thanks!

This is very easy. You have to go into edit mode of a single patch first, which you open after double clicking on a performance. Then, you can see the individual patches which make the performance up. Double click on the patch, then at the bottom you will see the word Amp in the middle. Click on Amp and at the bottom of that page you will see 2 available Sources. There will be a drop menu when you go to either source and LFOs 1 and 2 are available then set the amount and set the LFO speed as desired. The panniong issue is a lot more complicated and you'll have to read up on how the WS does its routing, and in particular this relates to how sound is routed through the Effects section. You can do some amazing stuff with the panning though once you get into how the routing works.
