As far as I am aware, there is no download section so this might be difficult.
Please note that at the moment I am uploading the factory data to my personal site for the K 61 and the K73. If anyone requires it they can email me or send a PM.
N.B. this will only be available, in about 3 weeks, to members who can show me they own a Kronos.
regards,
Mikeeee.

Have you even looked at any other page on our site other than the forum ?
The download section has existed for a decade.

thankyou sharp for your comment/question.
Answer:- The ones on the forum are fairly obvious and I have looked at many of them.
So are you saying that the download section exists on another page other than the forum?

Update 5th april 2913.
I see you have just added a new announcement with the link to the "downloadsection" That is great.

Mikeeee.
P.S. I must add, that I belong to many forums and I think that you, sharp are the most helpful moderator I have come across. Much of what you have given out, advice, that is, is now printed out and has been bound and added to my private library. Now starting on 2nd book.thanks.

Yes.
Click on this link for example.
http://www.korgforums.com/forums-frame.htm
This allows you to see the forum and retain the site menu at the top of your screen giving you direct access to the different pages of the site, including the download section.

Thanks for the kind worlds. I'm delighted to hear it's all been helpful. It's comments like that that keep me going and all the others who give so much of their free time to help people.

Are these images of DVDs restoring OS 1 or OS 2? Thanks for confirming.

Part one has CRC error.
I downloaded all parts, burned them to dvd in UTF format, and Kronos did not recognize, and boot from DVD.

I would also be willing to upload these somewhere, or, if Sharp would like me to send the DVDs to him, I would do that as well. We might as well have more than one option.
If Sharp can't do it or just doesn't have the time, if anyone has suggestions of sites that aren't expensive, I will upload the restore DVDs. I was an early Kronos adopter so these are 1.xx DVDs. Still, these are crucial and doing the updates isn't hard.
I want to give back to the community but I am not a wizard like Qui or Nedim.
Best,
Vlad

Using marioroland's link above I was able to DL DVD1 and 2 (the CRC error I believe was on a non-critical part of the disk - Tutorials, I think).
I was also able to create a Bootable disk for DVD1 using IMGBurn and a few custom settings. I can explain how to do it, but I only tested it with my external DVD drive and got the Boot screen with the 4 options to show up on my Kronos (it's version 1.01 BTW). I didn't actually DO a restore of any kind!
A few questions:
1. Was a 2.02 ISO(s) ever put on the download section? I don't see it listed there.
2. Does DVD2 have to be bootable as well?
3. I bought my Kronos from Guitar Center new but it was a floor model. I didn't realize disks were provided at first. When I asked the salesperson about acquiring them, he eventually put an order into Korg for disks. He claims they are on back order. Is this true?
If there is enough interested in how to create a bootable DVD from the download, I'll try to post a procedure on here.
Thanks!

Talking about this, recently I was trying to burn a DL iso image (i.e. larger than 4.7 Gb) and ImgBurn kept failing. Using the exact same blanks, I was able to use my wife's Dell laptop and Roxio software. But ImgBurn and my old Pioneer DVR-116D would not work together.

As a follow-up to my own question:
He claims they are on back order. Is this true?
I contacted Korg USA yesterday and they are indeed on backorder. I asked when they expect to get new DVDs in. "I dunno" was the response....
I was able to secure a set of disks from Parts is Parts, however.
