It is not meant as a direct attack to Paolo, but he must be the nearest to the spare part department
Kjeld,
No this is NOT correct. Paolo is NOT the right person to deal with this. Please don't continue berating Paolo or Korg Italy for something that appears to be a problem with your local distributor.
Several people including me tried to help you previously. Have you yet contacted Korg UK and/or Dolphin Music for these spare parts, as per my earlier suggestion, and if not, why not? The solution is in your own hands, or can be as soon as you pick up the telephone and call them.
Thanks,
Rob

I have a high respect for Admar and I think his comparison with his computer is very pertinent. Sometimes things cannot be sorted out instantly.
I can appreciate that in desperation Paolo was the person who it was felt theat kjeld could turn to.
However, given that Korg is a huge organisation, perhaps it was asking too much for him to drop what he was doing in his day job to sort out a service problem in another country.
The strength and weakness of a global community?

Rob: No, I have not contacted as you suggest. I give the Button glue and I get the Jack Plugs from ROLAND
To all: Stop these discussion, it was not meant to be so. It was only for the members and KORGs orientation and something I think KORG have to investigate
Cheers
Kjeld

Hi Kjeld,
I'm frankly surprised to find such a public attack in the forum. I didn't even see the mail you are referring to (which address did you send it?)
Also, I can't understand how you can think to use an independent forum to order spare parts, in particular if they are needed urgently. There is a specific procedure for this, and the forum is not involved in the process.
For everybody wondering about repairs and replacement parts, it should be clear that these matters are managed by each distributor and their service network. There is no direct involvement of Korg with these issues, nor could it be otherwise.
Also, it should be clear that I check the forum when I can, depending on the time I can devote to it (not much, at the moment). Again, THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL KORG FORUM, so it shouldn't be expected that there is Korg personnel always monitoring the messages. We have hot-line phone numbers in nearly all Countries, and that is our direct, constant link with our customers.
I cannot hide that finding my name name-called in the subject of a public forum is not very pleasant. I hope the original poster or the moderator can promptly change it.
Regards,
Paolo

Dear Paolo,
Please know that the topic of this thread is NOT representative of forum members. We all appreciate your help and courtesy on this forum and long may it continue. I hope that maybe Karmathanever or Sharp as moderators of the forum can remove the complete thread. You will see from various messages that several forum members have tried to advise Kjeld of the appropriate way to go about things.
Best regards,
Rob
