Questions for MIDI Experts

Post by cezarine »

Hello everyone, here's my problemโ€ฆ
I want to modify the parameters of a drum kit's sounds in a MIDI sequence sent from a DAW to my Nautilus without saving them. For example, I want to change the panning (Panpot) of a particular sound or its effect send level.
In the past, I owned a Korg PA2X, and this was possible by sending the CC99, CC98, and CC06 controls (see attached image).

I also tried sending SysEx messages previously retrieved from editing a drum kit (Global/Drum Kit/Voice Mixer), but that doesn't work.
In short, how do I do this with the Nautilus? #-o ](*,)
So I'm asking for your help and thank you very much. =D>

Ever since way back when KORG MWs appeared on the scene changes made to ALL THE DRUM KITS are made from GLOBAL where you can change levels and where that drum sound is going to be in the Stereo Field.

I have not used my Nautilus in a DAW setting as of yet

However, I tend to think that using it in a DAW SETTING OPENS UP MORE possiblities
