Re: pa1000 fill
Thanks for the tip – it is possible since OS package version 1.2 Variations can be started not only with any fill, but also with any ending and even the break.
kind regards

Press 2 or more times var 1,2,3,4 with auto fill on until the LED on the variation flashes
and it should start with fill. If not then press count in for a second and immediately go to fill.

Re: pa1000 fill
Hello duby2,
I think it is not necessary to go back to os 120 or 131.
Unfortunately, the Fill function isn't well described in Pa1000-New-Features.pdf, but it works quite simply and regardless of which of the four variations is started with a Fill and whether the Autofill button is active or inactive.
It's very simple: when you want to choose starting your variation with a Fill, simply press together for a short moment Autofill button and the button with the number of Fill you want to begin with.
Example starting variation 2 with fill 3:
- selecet button variation 2 - its LED will lighten
- for a short moment press together button variation 3 + button autofill
- LED of variation 2 is flashing, ready to be startet with fill 3
Example starting variation 1 with its own fill 1:
- selecet button variation 1 - its LED will lighten
- for a short moment press together button variation 1 + button autofill
- LED of variation 1 is flashing, ready to be startet with fill 1
Example starting variation 4 with its fill 2:
- selecet button variation 4 - its LED will lighten
- for a short moment press together button variation 2 + button autofill
- LED of variation 4 is flashing, ready to be startet with fill 2
....etc
At least that's how it works with my instrument (Type B, Serial No. > 40000, HDMI-Out, OS version 1.5) and this short tap on the two buttons also corresponds to described manual selection of a fill, regardless of whether Autofill is active or inactive!

It may happen that fill-ins 3 and 4 are missing in some styles – for example, in the "60s Rhumba" style, which was adopted from the Pa500Musikant.
These styles cannot be started with these, nor can they be triggered manually.
By loading and saving such styles, the Pa1000's style editor copies the existing fills to Fill3 and Fill4, so that all fills (1-4) can also be used to start with and manually trigger fill-ins.
kind regards
