It seems the hardware that holds my 2 RAM sticks (they are the short ones that lay flat, like in a laptop, not the old 6 inch long ones) has a physical break where I think I can only use one RAM slot. I currently have 2 2gig chips in but my Global mode only shows 2 gig installed. Can I put a single 4 gig chip in the good slot?
Please, if you can point me to an ebay link or provide any info so I can increase my RAM using just one slot I'd really appreciate it. I have a KronosX 61 key. I just need help getting the correct chip. (I realize it can only use the Linux limit of 3.25 gig but I need that extra gig!
Thanks people!
Eric
Sorry to ask again... but...single 4 GB Ram in KronosX 61?
