How to quickly change lower sound when locked

Post by vladica1975 »

Hello

I am trying to find optimal solution to efficiently use lower tone on my PA1000. Basically, for lower i typically use strings, pads, organ, eventually mandolins... So all together a handful of different sounds.

I tried different options to manage this:

- configure appropriate lower sound for each songbook entry STS. It is time consuming and if i need another keyboard set other than 4 STS, my lower sound is changed anyway.

- use lower lock in global and lock lower sound. It is in general working, but problem is how to quickly change that sound when needed. I need to use touch screen, navigate to different sound, and often change the octave and volume (between string and organ for example i always need to change the octave as organs sound much deeper than strings). This is still the fastest way i have today.

- Have a lower lock accessible via quick access buttons above the joystick (so i can quickly unlock lower, change keyboard set and lock the lower again), but that is unfortunately not possible as locks can't be assigned to quick buttons

I was looking also for option to maybe modify the sound and change the octave and volume and save it as a new user sound that i can quickly access using the touchscreen, but no luck - it seems i can't save a new sound transposed for an octave higher.

Does anyone have any idea how to accomplish this - change and lock lower sound quickly?

Unfortunately, the simple, separately storable control of Lower was not taken into account in the operating concept of the Pa-Arranger.

One possibility is to expand the four STS to the KEYBOARD-SET-LIBRARY in order to access the nine most common combinations with LOWER and the "Auto Select Keyboard Set Library" option for quick access via the keyboard set buttons 1 - 9.
