Counter question - if you take a look at the Pa1000's midi implementation, why shouldn't it work?spiroskis wrote:I want buy TEControl Breath and Bite controller BBC2. Does it work with KORG PA 1000?
Breath controllers allows easy and independent setting of parameters such as input/output range, sensitivity curve, attack/decay filter response as well as MIDI Channel, MIDI CC, Pitch bend or Aftertouch.
The same is with Settings of Pa1000 - in MIDI implementation (last pages of user manual) you will find all the control changes and MIDI events received by the Pa1000.
So to work it only depends on how and for which sounds and effects you intend to use the settings of BreathController and Pa1000.
kind regards

Breath-/Wind-Midi-Controller

that is acceptable if it is for your needs.
To be honest - without additional arguments to say that is the best solution is like comparing a paper airplane and a passenger jet.
MCX Audio V5 sends a Midi volume message depending on the blowing intensity - this is the complete function and description of this simple device without any other relevant specifications.
TEControl (BBC2) is a good controller and provides quadruple hands-free continuous controllers: Breath, Bite and in addition Nod and Tilt sensors. With its built-in-sensors (piezoelectric transducer, bite sensor, accelerometer) musicians are allowed to add nuanced expression and realism to their performance.
The built-in piezoelectric transducer senses breath pressure: the bite sensor senses the the force applied to the mouthpiece by teeth or lips and the integrated accelerometer senses the inclination of the device along two axes (Nod for up/down and Tilt for lateral head movements).
Sensitive to breath pressure, bite force and inclination along two orthogonal axes and also insensitive to ambient pressure is software configurable (independently for each sensor) min/max sensor input and MIDI out ranges, sensitivity curve, attack/decay filter, MIDI channel and MIDI CC, Pitch bend or Aftertouch, neutral inclination calibration etc.

There are MIDI Breath Controller to recreate the feel of playing or to expand the functions of analog instruments, for example by using the fingering of a saxophone for a recorder or to make the sound of a transverse flute sound. Well-known wind/breath controller are Akai EWI 5000, Aodyo Sylphyo, Roland Aerophone AE-10, Yamaha WX5 but also Mooer Wi100 etc

In order to recommend a “best solution”, you have to know the user’s needs or at least mention an argument for such an assessment.
