Korg M1 won't play drum patches

Hi all

I'm scratching my head over this recently found problem with my M1 and I'm hoping someone might have a clue...

I recently reloaded the M1 factory patches via sysex because I needed one of the drum patches and discovered that the M1 won't (or can't) play any drum sounds... I also loaded other M1 patch libraries and only the drum patches won't play.

All of the single patches as well as the combi sounds play without any problems but there's no output with drum patches either through the headphones or through the L/R main output.

I did have trouble with my synth ages ago which turned out to be a dry solder joint on one of the boards (can't remember which one) ... reflowing the connection solved that problem but maybe there was something else lurking?

Anyway... it's a weird problem and probably hard to track down but if anyone has an idea/suggestion, I'd be glad to hear it!!
