Makes me feel somehow melancholic hearing the great Korg machines of the 70s and 80s, like the PS series and the Wavestation. I will always remember one of the gigantic music stores we had downtown, which is now gone since a very long time. It had all the huge and popular keyboards from all brands. This is where as a timid teenager for the first time I dared to very delicately open the little preset door on a Yamaha CS-80 to see its tons of hidden miniature coloured sliders, and push some keys on a Hammond C-3 to hear its growling sound or a bit later on a Kurzweil 250 to hear pure flute or choir voices. They also had one of those very rare huge blackboard-type Korg MS-20 that I thought looked very chic while also strange.

I can only imagine what it's worth today for the person who bought it.

I am so glad to own a Kronos, IMHO still the greatest digital keyboard machine ever built. Thank you Korg for being with us for so long and sincere wishes of many more decades to come.

Great link! Enjoyed the story and the emphasis that was put on various instruments. Also found the the lack of emphasis on the Kronos and PA arranger series interesting. Sometimes we, as customers and users of equipment, place emphasis relative to our personal wants and wishes. Manufacturers tend to run with their own visions of what is important for their progress. And Korg is a multi directional entity.

Nice documentary! I'm pleased that KARMA got a shout out in there...

I was a bit surprised there was not even a mention of the 01/W and that whole series - but I guess there's probably a bunch of others that got left out. Too many synths, too little time.

Anyway, had fun watching that. Some great sounds and nice performances!
