Hi there,
I've got a few .EXL files containing music I wrote, somehow imported onto an i4s, and then exported onto disk back in the 90s. It wasn't my keyboard, so I don't really remember the mechanics of how we got the MIDI data in/out (was there some sort of built-in sequencer?)
At any rate, I'd love to hear this music again — whether this means getting my hands on the MIDI data and reconstructing with different sounds, or rendering a recording out of an old Korg.
So I guess I've got two major questions:
1) Does anyone know what what other Korgs (if any) might be Sysex-compatible with the i4s? I was thinking of picking up something on eBay or Reverb, doing the conversion I need, then reselling, but pickings seem to be slim.
2) Would anyone who has one of these keyboards be interested in a gig doing the conversion? There's one 10 KB EXL file that I care about the most, but there are a couple dozen other files whose contents I'm curious about if the price is right. If this is something you could do, please PM me!
Thanks!

Bump
Is there really no one out there who wants to take my money to bounce some audio out of their keyboard?
