Re: Multitrack sequencer
To use a SMF for import to create a CV of a style, only a SMF in format 0 can be used.vuhuynh wrote: ... how can I import midi file to variantion of the style ...
For loading go to the Style/Pad Record > Import/Export > Import SMF page and choose the SMF to import with "from song" parameter.
Select also "initialize" checkbox if you want to reset all settings of the target style element when loading - else deselect the checkbox when importing.
With "to E/CV" pop-up menu choose a target chordvariation (CV) inside your style element (E) and touch "execute" to import the SMF to the target CV.
kind regards

Sequencer of Pa1000 saves song in SMF format 0. To change SMF format you will find freeware converter on www and also with software sequencers it can be done.vuhuynh wrote: .. PA 1000 after multitrack sequencer record and save as midi file how can you tell if that midi file is format 0 ...

import CV
With your information it's hard to answer - sorry.vuhuynh wrote: .. when I import SMF from MULTITRACK SEQUENCER
the note that I play on the right hand record T01 I could not hear from (ACC1-ACC5) ...
In styleplay mode a styles accompainment will recognice your chords. Then it use its tracks according to the chords that are fingered, to the style settings you selected und to the sequences memorized in tracks of style elements. That you can see and hear when using a factory style - and it is the same with a user style.
Check if there are valid events in styletracks (acc1-acc5) of used style-elements - you also can do this with styleeditor (maybe there are no events, expression or len of zeros...).
Check if you fingered that chord that is set to be played with the imported Chordvariation.
Check output of your background sounds (acc1-acc5) - maybe tracks are mutet, with volume 0, defined as insert effect without send-effect etc...
To learn how to get familiar with style recording try to read the manual, try to analyze a factory style, its elements, its chordvariations, its parameters and try to change some of its events to see how it works. Maybe you will learn to understand the basics of editing a style, to formulate concrete questions about a problem, so that these can also be answered concretely.
kind regards

Hi siebenhirter,
I got it finally I achieved what I need to do thank you so so much
step 1: take current style name ABC
step 2: Backing Sequencer record (by doing this give me the chords for my intro)
step 3: Multitrack Sequencer record (by doing this I can play lead on the right hand )
step 4: save SMF file
now edit style name ABC
import SMF file to intro of style name ABC .... done
this way I dont have to create new intro from scratch everytime (drum, bass.....)
thanks again siebenhirter
