Agree with you Rich
These keyboards are awesome as is and I really don't know of any sounds that I want to spend hours trying to deeply improve.
Just wanna play!!!!
I didn't buy these keyboards to spend hours buried in manuals and menus.

But, that being said, I've had no problems so far fixing/changing anything I want. On board features are excellent.

Take care and let us know how you go with the big "G".

One of the pitfalls we so often fall into is trying to do both playing and technical experimentation at the same time. I find it is far better to separate the two, so you don’t get frustrated trying to play a song while you troubleshoot technical problems. One at a time…!

If you concentrate on one aspect at a time, say for instants reliable synchronization, or control of volume parts, or calling up new performances remotely etc. without the pressure of trying to perform a song as well, and put your whole concentration into just the problem, when you finally do decide to perform a song, all the technical aspects will be familiar and fixed.

So try putting aside a playing session, and just use the whole time you have available to solving the issue, and familiarize yourself with the workflow, the button pushing or menu diving to achieve what you want, and treat it almost like practicing scales or arpeggios, So that when you are playing you don’t have to think twice about all that other stuff.

I hope this helps. I know the frustration of trying to play before you are technically prepared.…!

With all these keyboards my learning advice is "one mode at a time".
But, you don't have to be a deep sound/style technician to take full advantage of these instruments musically.

PA4X is TOTL and hence has all the technical capabilities (if you want to access them)

More "entry-level" keyboard models is the better place to start - particularly with regard to arrangers.
