LOW voice plays during INTRO

Post by ronieaz »

This is a problem for me because I do not want to hear whatever voice at whatever volume I have set for LOW stick itself into the Intro.
I get the same results no matter which Variation and for Intro2. My only workaround seems to be recording the Intro separately then attach it to the rest of the song inside a DAW which defeats the purpose of having an arranger keyboard workstation. I honestly do not remember having this problem with my PA600 that I sold to buy the PA1000.

I chose this style because it has a long intro and I chose ElectroLead at Volume99 so the voice stands out during the experiment. When I discovered this issue I was using a different style and different voices.

Factory - ballad - p1 - LongLifeBallad - exit
LOW - Legacy - p1 - ElectroLead - exit
Unmute - Set volume to 99. Variation3 - Intro1
Trigger Cm chord - it will show up at top of screen and will sound
Hit Start/Stop. After 8 bars play chords Cm Gm Cm Gm then hit Stop.
You will hear the ElectroLead plainly when you play the chords, but not during the intro. This is the way it should be.

Push Variation3 - Intro1
Goto Sequencer - Record - BackingSequence - OK
Set Kbd/Pad to Mute. Set Ch/Acc to Rec. Trigger Cm chord.
Make sure you see Variation3 and Intro1 lights.
Hit Start/Stop. After 8 bars play chords Cm Gm Cm Gm.
Hit the Player1 Stop square. Hit the Player1 Play arrow.
You will hear the intro and chord changes without LOW ElectroLead because Kbd/Pad was set to Mute.

Hit Record - BackingSequence - OK
Ch/Acc - Play. Leave Kbd/Pad on Rec.
Hit the Player1 Play arrow to start recording.
You will hear the ElectroLead play loudly through the entire Intro1.
Hit the Player1 Stop square.
Hit the Menu button - EventEdit - Filter tab - make sure all are white squares.
Hit the EventEdit tab. Select Track4 to see the LOW track.
You will see 3 or so notes in M:001 with Value2 and Length parameters. Select each NOTE and hit Delete at the bottom of the screen. Exit. Use the drop down and Save the song. Still in Sequencer mode - Hit Record - BackingSequence - OK.
You might hear the ElectroLead sound off when you do this. It has un-deleted itself.
Ch/Acc to Play. Hit Player1 Play arrow to start recording. You will hear ElectroLead.
Hit Player1 Stop square. Goto Menu - EventEdit - Track4.
The deleted NOTES are back in M:001.
