Korg Kross 2 Drums

Hi Dear Kross owners

I want to buy a workstation synth, and my prime suspect is currently the Kross 2, but I would like to know whether or not it is possible to quickly mute a part of a loop/sequence that has been created.
For example, I make a drum beat, then can I mute only the kick drum or the hi hats? (TO PRODUCE SICK VIBES ON THE SPOT)

I did muting and soloing in Sequencer mode. But it is not a single press way. Have to traverse through menus. Not sure if there is a technique to do in single /fewer presses though. You may want to explore in the manual.
