RK100s 2 new sounds?

The RK100s 2 is advertised to have new sounds. Seeing as this is the same MicroKorg XL+ sound engine, I believe. Has anyone heard these sounds? Can they be loaded into the older RK100s? I already have the RockSet which is very good. On the Korg Website there is no place to download any sounds for the RK100s models at all. The MicroKorg XL+ section does not list any banks to download either. Even the original presets. The sound editor is still version 1.0, hmmm am I missing something? I just got a Mk. II. I already have a Mk. I, I got this as a backup.

From what I can make out, the only thing that is new is that it has more DWGS multisamples.

The Mk. I had 85 multisamples, the MicroKorgXL+ has 64 (from the manual) and this new RK-100s Mk. II has 121.

The presets are different from the RK-100s Mk. I but basically are just more of the same.

Apart from that, the basic sound engine seems to be identical.

RK-100S newcomer here... I'm wondering the same, if RK-100S 2 patches can be loaded on the former model and where can be retrieved.

RK-100S 2 default patches can be retrieved installing the relevant editor.

After having installed RK100S 2 Editor I realized that generated files can't be read by RK100S Editor...

I did an attempt and loaded BOTH editors at the same time. To my amazement, patches can be copied and pasted from RK100S 2 to RK100S Editor...

Thus I created a RK100S 2 version in KR100S format.
