Guitar Mode in Sequencer

Post by deminda »

Is there a way that I can use guitar mode in Sequencer mode of Pa4X. As u all know we can do a quick record and that will transform the guitar mode to a midi file. Can we do this in the sequencer mode; I am using the sequencer mode with Cubase; In Style rec mode I can use guitar mode and use cubase CC valuses to change chord parameters in guitar mode; Can we do this in sequencer mode. The advantage in sequencer mode is that we can preview the track with insert effects. Thx

You can convert on Pa4x's sequencer the track to a guitar track, then you have to save the midi file and load it on cubase/nuendo,there you can edit it again.

Alternative way is to convert a guitar track into an ACC track (keep Rx notes etc) ,save it and load it on cubase for further editing.
I prefer this way cause it's easier to build up the guitar track, the other way i think it's harder ,not only because you can't easy understand what guitar plays, but it also requires a lot of control changes for everylittle adjust you want to do.
So,i prefer to convert guitar tracks into normal acc tracks, then edit them on Daw.

Convertion can be done using the utilities on Pa4's sequencer.

-You can addRX notes automatically on a track.
-You can convert guitar mode track into normal track
-You can convert normal Acc track (with Rxnotes) into a guitar mode track

Thanks for your reply. Could you please explain more. What is the advantage of converting a midi track to a guitar track ? What kind of notes should the track have ? Does it need notes for a chord ? And if i concert a guitar track to a normal ACC track will that disolve in to notes. Please explain the uses of these options. Thx heaps

You have to read the manual and watch some tutorials
in order to understand how guitar mode works, there is also a tutorial that shows how to edit guitar mode tracks on a DAW .

In generally, you can take a normal midi track of a guitar sound, and automatically add RX notes on Pa4x's sequencer.
Save this midi after RX notes added, and then edit it on daw.

You can also convert the new track with RX notes into a a guitar mode track using the sequencer.

i just prefer the normall Acc track and just add all Rx notes needed, cause i can change chords or transpose ,or even be more detailed on what i want the guitar track to play.

Interesting question. I mainly believe that the answer to it you will find on the internet. Try searching for a country guitar tab on the internet, and there I am sure you will find your answers. Another method could be searching on youtube for a tutorial video. There must be for sure someone who shows the correct way to use the guitar in the sequence mode. Another way could be by going to some music centers, and asking there specialist. Either way you choose, I believe you will easily find a solution to your problem, and I hope I gave you useful advices.

Of course, when you bought a guitar, it should have been bundled with some helpful information for its use. After all, the store from which you purchased it may give some input. For example, I set up a studio with ukuleles, and, accordingly, the website where I bought them gave me extensive information. The sound quality strongly depends on the correct organization and connection of instruments and equipment in general. I prefer to convert ukulele tracks to regular chord tracks and then edit them on a Daw. I think that everyone hears music in their way and can also create it in their way.
