Odd problem today. I started up my Pa4x and no matter what button I hit or using the touch screen nothing would happen, the keyboard seemed locked. After tapping buttons a few times I could change the the voice, style or songbook entry but then it would freeze again. Not sure but I thought I try removing the USB stick, sure enough when it was removed the keyboard functioned normally.
Anyone else have a problem like this. I've owned the 4x for almost 5 years and never had this problem.

Does the problem return when you re-insert the USB?
If it does, try a different USB to confirm where the fault is (i.e. PA4X or USB)
Does the USB work OK on your PC/Mac?
I've had USB drives screw up - it is not uncommon.
Hope your PA4X is actually OK
Cheers

Pete. Thanks for the reply. The problem does return when I re-insert that same USB stick. I have copied all the files to a new USB stick and the Pa4x is now working the way it should, no problems. I did put the USB into my Mac it didn’t seem to be a problem. So I’m taking this as good news and my 4x is OK.karmathanever wrote:Does the problem return when you re-insert the USB?
