Sequencer mode: Default Effects

Post by rkicina@gmail.com »

Hi everyone, is there a way to change the default master effects setup for sequencer mode? After I enter SEQ mode on my PA4x I always get the following setup of MFX A: Reverb Hall (12:88), Black Chorus/Flanger (Wet), Stereo BPM Delay (30:70). Do you have the same or is it just me having this issue? I want to have it like on my old PA3X: Reverb Hall (20:80), Stereo Chorus (Wet), Stereo BPM Delay (20:80). But have no idea how to change it (permanently, so that I have it there each time I open the SEQ mode). Any advice is more than welcome..

Could you create a ‘template’ sequence with no data but the effects set where you want, and open that instead of the initialized sequencer?

Good tip.

The short answer is "no" you can't set default effects for SEQUENCER MODE.
Korghelper's "template" tip is a sensible and reliable way to go IMHO.
