Saving Sounds

Hi,
Got my Pa1000 recently, trying to learn to customize it. I’ve loaded
Data from different SETS, now I am running out of memory I have to manage
The compressed 600MB. I don’t have Pa Manage software trying find the linked
Samples, multisamples to the sounds. Is there a way we can find out what samples and multisamples are linked to the sounds in the user banks?
When you load sounds from the SET, for example user01.PCG, the system loads the related
Samples (RAM0-99.PCM) and multisamples (RAM.KMP)automatically.
On the computer you can only see RAM01.PCM- RAMP99.PCM, but on the keyboard every sample has a name
How can I find out what sample is related to the sound?

You can find the samples related to the sound in Sound Mode.

I know samples are in sound > samples

in the PCM folder the samples are numbered 01-99, but
on the keyboard sound -> sample, every sample has a name

Do samples and sounds in the user bank have the same name? or
should have the same name?

You're welcome.
Regarding naming sounds in user bank, you're absolutely free to name/rename them as you like.
But for understanding better the elements of the so called sound in Pa1000, I suggest you to take a look at the manual Pa1000,page 382 (Editing the Sounds) because it's better explained
and I don't want to miss any info and get you more confused or waiting for other knowledgeable member's replies.

Anyway I just copy/paste some basic information about editing sound in Pa1ooo from manual.

I found out that if you have samples loaded into you user sound slot these will only save when you turn the factory protect off and do a save all.

You are right BR, I should go back to the manual and start reading,
I turn to this forum for short cuts
I wanted to use what is given to us what is available from other user(Reuben shared his piano sounds) rather than to create new sounds from scratch, but if I learn how to create a sound then I will know better the relation between the samples and the sound banks.

NativeAngles, I am not looking to save sounds, I am trying to find the relation between sound slot and the samples so I could better manage the memory. I can make my question clearer with an illustration I made, but couldn't cut and paste here, do you know how to post a picture here?
