What does this guy mean by main performance knobs on the M1?

Post by ulrichburke »

Dear Anyone.

I've got the Korg Legacy Collection and am having EXACTLY the same automation CC change assignation problems as this guy was, on the M1. Found his post with a lucky Google, and at the end of the thread he puts, and I'm quoting....

hought I'd bump this thread since I recently got the Legacy Collection and am having a similar problem.

The MS-20, Poly6, M/P and Legacy Cell all have controls that be assigned to MIDI CC and automated, but I can't seem to do this on the M1 and Wavestation. I'd like to set up the filter and amp controls to my MIDI controller knobs, but it's not even mentioned in the manual.

UPDATE:

Wow, completely overlooked the main performance knobs on the M1. These all have MIDI learn and can indeed be assigned knobs and automated by recording controller movements.

Please, what does he mean by 'the main performance knobs?' I've found a button labeled CC but activating it doesn't seem to give me any more control over CC changes than I already had, meaning virtually zero. OK, so I'm a dumbass NOOB who deserves to be trolled, but between the laughter at this post - any chance of a description of what the 'main performance knobs' look like, or where they are, or a picture of them, or ANYTHING!?!?! I've had the Legacy Collection YEARS and I've no idea what he's talking about.

(If you have to do anything to activate their CC assignability, I'd love to know that too. Yes I've read the manual. Many times. So I know I'm being dumbass!)

Yours hopefully

Chris.
