The reset files have been sent out privately previously to some members however I'm not really sure if it did help or not since they did not provide any feedback after.

As said above the correct procedure if you have similar situation even after trying to reinstall the correct os from official published files is to send it to an authorised korg repair centre as of this particular trouble times when is safe to do so.

Personally I don't think an reset file will help as it feels like an hardware failure somewhere either ram corrupted or cpu which propably needs replacing and proper examination. But I could be wrong that's why I say it's important to send it to an official korg repair centre which will tell you exactly were the problem lies. After you could help by letting us all know the outcome and the official answer.

Pa4 - Factory Reset files

I can not imagine that, because these are not links from privates but from the official Korg homepage and as described in the manual of Korg as follows:

Pa-Series – Factory Reset
Introduction
The procedure described in this document allows you to install the Operating System and the original Factory data in the instrument’s internal memory, by loading the Factory Reset files from an USB storage device. This operation is only due when the instrument appears ‘frozen’, due to memory corruption or loading of incompatible data.
The most up-to-date version of the Factory Reset files can be downloaded from our dedicated Service server etc......

From www.korg.com for Pa4x and Pa4x Oriental each package OS v2.0 is a "Full version" (Complete Package). That are "Complete Packages" made for factory reset.
thanks a lot

"karmathanever" wrote correctly.

If all sample RAM memory is cleared before installing Korg Pa4X. INTRO Installation Procedure 1. If the installation from the official korg.com website fails. Then Korg must be sent to SERVICE. This means that the Korg Pa4X hardware is damaged. This will not be a SOFTWARE problem but HARDWARE

They will most probably change the CPU board on your keyboard...
I would like to get, if you don't need it and the price is logical, the old one to try to figure out what happened to it and update this thread!
Most probably it is not fixable as there are no parts you can change and have it still working..(most of the parts are locked to the specific ID's of the one's on the board so even if you put a new one on it it will not boot) but we will have valuable information for the future.

99% thoughts it was a mainboard problem, but it was not!
I sold it for very less money but the person who bought hat it repaired and was only something like a cable problem inside.

Back in the day (and no doubt still for touring professionals) it was common for keyboard players to have all the cables internally on some of the more complex keyboards (think Kurzweil's and Oberheim’s, anything internally complex and expensive) secured tighter than the factory original. Touring is hard on gear...

Many of us gigging arranger players move our gear at least as much as a touring band, and often don’t use full ATA flight cases, and even those didn’t insulate the keyboard from shock under all situations. On the whole, it is always worth a qualified tech checking all the internal connections when faced with problems not easily tracked down.

I'm sorry I answered late. I didn't come here because I was busy.

The repair center said it had replaced the" IC boot" on the CPU board.
and the keyboard was fixed.
It cost $ 1,000 to repair

WHAAAAAAT?!
i bought a pa1000 cpu board (same as pa4x but different os) last month for about 400euros new...
1000$ is too much for a repair in my opinion and as far as i know service centers do not touch the cpu board at all.Even the service manual doesn't have the cpu board schematics ( i have it and have also confirmed it with the one the distributors do have ) .
At least you got it fixed even at that price.
Hope it lasts long!
