Hi.
Hoping someone can help me. Does anyone recall a style on the Pa4x that started intro 1 with the sound of a band tuning up. I think it was possibly a jazz style but may be wrong, in fact, I could have imagined the whole thing. ( age and lock down effect). Hope everyone is keeping safe and well.
Many thanks. Rob

i think
I think there was some demo songs just like that for sure in the korg 01 W
.
One song was a marching band in at the beginning of it they were all tuning up then there was another song how my rock band with a guitar player was tuning up his guitar.. the demo,,
was a persons sitting in a automobile pressing buttons on a car radio, you would hear the clicks between the stations and you would hear the static between stations and you would hear different songs being played at different spots or times .each button would play a song for 20 to 30 seconds then you would hear the click then static like a normal radio in the olden days the demo songs wire guitar tuning up at first and one was a marching band tuning up in the whole band sounded out of -tune like a marching band///

I do not recall a style from the arrangers with the tuning sounds you mention, but I have not heard all of the styles for all of the arrangers.
I do remember a demo for the Korg Trinity that had a guitar tuning before the song started. In fact, you could hear the organ doing a riff, the bass guitar doing a riff, the guitar tuning, and then it goes into the song.
You can find it here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHyIQ451Omg
Go to the 17:50 minute mark and you will hear what I am talking about. I believe that the Korg Karma had something similar to it as well.
I hope that this helps a bit, but I may have just added to the confusion...
Grace,
Harry

YES
The style you are possibly thinking of is the "Bolero" - there are more than one but the "orchestral Bolero" is the one that starts with the Orchestra tune-up, followed by the conductor's arrival and baton tapping - the style like Ravel's Bolero - absolutely fabulous style. I use it for my version of Chavala
Let me know if you cannot find it!!!

EDIT:- One of the earlier PA models had a demo song which started with an acoustic guitar tune-up - but that was a demo, not style
