So, I had a MicroKorg which I loved, then sold it because I am dumb, then got a MicroKorg XL which I also love, then found a recording I made with a sound on the MicroKorg and would love to be able to access on the XL. Anyone have a lead on a patchset for the XL of the original sounds?
There preset in question had a great function where the tone wheel jumped the notes a full octave.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
Install the editor for the XL (http://i.korg.com/SupportPage.aspx?productid=545). It comes with a library which recreates the sounds of the original mK on the mKXL.
It may not sound exactly as before, but it will come close. Else it is a good starting point to tweak the program as you like it best.
Have fun
