Kronos Remote for iOS: Able to change any synth parameters?

Post by studio460 »

[I did a search for "Kronos Remote iOS" but turned up a lot of unrelated posts.]

Okay, I bought the Korg Kronos Remote iOS app. Apparently it's only good for naming setlists??? The mixer is the only thing I could access. When I load parameters for a preset, a blank preset template is loaded on the iPad, but with all values nulled out. Is there a way to "download" a particular Kronos parameter page to the app (I realize it cannot download ALL parameters)? I click the "sync" button, but it loads nothing; i.e, no values populate the fields. Can you alter ADSR, cutoff/resonance, or anything with this app?

Check the developers page. I believe he states that this is NOT an synth parameters editor. He also has some YouTubes on the app.
"To me the synthesizer was always a source of new sounds that musicians could use to expand the range of possibilities for making music."

I use it a lot for editing setlists, copy/pasting slots between setlists etc.
It is also really useful on gigs to have both the Setlist and Combi windows open at the same time, and to have a bigger, brighter display that you can move around to avoid glare.

Oh, and the ability to import pdf's attached to setlist slots is another really useful feature.

I also have the Kronos Editor on my computer, but I never use it.
