Korg Kronos would have to have a bug submitting mechanism to fight glitches, crashes etc….
I wouldn’t worry too much, simply restart Kronos.
I had many note panics over MIDI, and freezes without MIDI ( that looks like sound engine crash)
It would be a good idea to have some sort of PANIC or ESCAPE button to have, but there is none.

You can press the compare button to stop any sounding notes.
I had this happen twice last Sunday and I suspect it was a newly made combi where I'm probably pushing too many notes.

My problem was not note sustain, it was note cutting, but I’m sure they share the same glitch domain. DISK LED constantly fully lit.
No responsive buttons at that time. Not even COMPARE.
Why is there this overload of processing power (or whatever is bothering it!)?
Shouldn’t capabilities of device be within the normal working range (capacity) of the machine? I would rather have explicit limitations than instant death in the middle of performance.
My experience happened in the intimacy of my bedroom. What if it would happen during my concert in front of 50.000 people? Yes, I’m talking about my dream the other day, but nevertheless.
