so bit of a problem: help please with the LCD display

I took my Microkorg XL apart and painted the body. Turned out great.

Reassembling this, the paper and glass slipped out of the LCD display housing

I put it back in the order and orientation I thought but the letters in the display come out missing or scrambled. Not sure what I have done, nor what the solution is.

Grateful for some technical help on this.

It was the order of the tissue paper and the LCD chunky glass ... just had to make sure the display contact rail was making good contact.

Anyway .. now I know!
