how to replace touch screen on korg pa 500

Hi, ive had loads of live playing with korg pa500, screen has always worked, but the odd time the calbration seemed out, stored for 8 month, started ok, all buttons & lighrs work, just the touch screen is totally non responsive, cleaned it, tried finger, pen, etc but nothing, seems the touch screen is faulted, ive purchased a new one very inexspensive, but having taking apart yamaha's & ketrons to repair, has anyone replaced, installed, changed the korg pa500 touch screen, its the procedure from the start, then reverse it, id appreciate the advice & help, be great if a youtube or a written sheet with instructions, thanks

Take it apart and check the ribbons on the touch screen, pull the ribbon cables out and reinsert them. I fixed mine this way. Worth a shot.
