i4s Connection as midi keyboard to use with studio one artis

I have a Korg i4s workstation and would like to use it as a midi keyboard to be connected with presonus audiobox itwo with studio one artist software
I connected the midi cable (out on the i4s and in on the presonus audio card) but no joy.Please help with the appropriate steps or is the technology too old to be compatible (i ve seen all the midi keyboards are usb now ).thank you
