How to mute lower track 1 on PA1000

Hi guys ,
My question sounds very basic , but I can’t mute the lower track 1 even when it is mute and I have the split on for some keyboard sets.
Let’s say the track is a guitar or strings and it keeps going when using different chords as a backup.
I tried changing the chord setting to 3 fingered and advanced and 1 finger , but it doesn’t change .
Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong?

I'm not sure what you need, but completely mute Lower you need go to:
Turning the Bass & Lower Backing function on or off
Go to the Global > Mode Preferences > Style 2 page.
and uncheck: Bass & Lower Backing
and of course mute Lower on screen.
When Bass & Lower Backing function is active arranger play muted Lower when is in STOP mode.
